Samuel’s nearly closed its doors when original owner Ira Gutner died in 2014. Thankfully, avid fans of their candies, desserts, coffee and pastries, actors Paul Rudd and Jeffrey Dean Morgan stepped in to save the shop from closing. Sweet!

Talented chefs Emily Kellogg and Pierre Pouplard met while working at Per Se, a three-Michelin-starred restaurant in New York City. After several years, Emily and Pierre decided to embark on a new journey. They moved upstate to Emily’s hometown of Woodstock to open their first boutique and share their unique creations with the world.
